About Melissa Baloian
Experience
Melissa has the unique experience of being a prosecutor and defense attorney. She understands how the other side works.
Melissa has been practicing law since 2004. She received her undergraduate degrees in both Political Science and Psychology, with a minor in American History, at the University of California, Davis, and her Law Degree at the University of San Francisco, School of Law. Melissa began her career as a deputy public defender and later prosecuted cases as a deputy district attorney. After leaving the prosecutor's office, Melissa returned to criminal defense and has experience in criminal appeals, as well as state and federal court defense.
Goals
Melissa's goal is to provide the best defense for each of her clients. She understands the need for communication during some of the most difficult times in a person's life. Melissa will aggressively advocate for her clients to achieve the best resolution.
